Dear Comrade

On behalf of the central committee of Workers Party of Bangladesh I congratulate the leadership of the Communist Party of the Philippines on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the reestablishment of your party.

For the last 35 years CPP has been waging revolutionary armed struggle for the emancipation of the people of the Philippines and has achieved many successes which is a great source of inspiration for the struggle of the oppressed peoples of all other countries of the world including Bangladesh.

We and all other working class parties of the world have lot to learn from your protracted struggle against imperialism and local oppressors and the ruling class.

Your struggle has not only advanced the national democratic revolution with socialist perspective in your country, but also contributed much to the world revolution. The armed struggle and other forms of struggle that you are waging is a great event of our time.

Our party values very much the long standing fraternal relation with CPP and we are proud of the glorious struggle waged by our class brothers and sisters in the Philippines under the leadership of CPP. In the world present situation which is very complex and when imperialism has become more aggressive than ever before, it is urgently needed that all the genuine revolutionary parties of working class and other revolutionary forces be united to fight imperialism. In the present period of history ideological offensive of the imperialism can not be ignored. We also need to fight more vigorously bourgeoisie ideology, ideological distortions, revisionism in new form and various forms of opportunism.

The leadership of your party has contributed much in the fight against revisionism both theoretically and in the practical struggle. Your theoretical contribution too is of great significance and this helped our party too.

We hope that your party will advance further, achieve more and more successes in the coming days.
