On the Occasion of the 35th Anniversary of the reestablishment of the Communist Party of the Philippines
Central Committee Communist Party of the Philippines
Greetings of solidarity from the CPI(ML) Central Committee on the thirty-fifth anniversary of the foundation of the CPP
Dear Comrades,
The Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) is pleased to note that the Communist Party of the Philippines is turning thirty-five on December 26, 2003. On this august occasion, we would like to extend our best wishes to the central leadership and the entire membership of the Communist Party of the Philippines.
May the CPP grow stronger and faster and win many more and bigger victories in the coming days in advancing the revolutionary cause in the Philippines and in strengthening the international communist movement and delivering powerful blows to the US-led imperialist camp.
In India, our Party too was founded around the same time and we will also be observing the thirty-fifth anniversary of our foundation on 22 April, 2004. Notwithstanding major differences in our respective situations and experiences, the advances made by your party in the Philippines have always been a source of inspiration for us in India. Over these years we have also had occasions to exchange opinions and experiences and cooperate on international platforms.
At the present juncture of a global upswing in anti-globalisation and anti-war movement, we look forward to a stronger international communist movement with bonds of closer cooperation and internationalist solidarity among communist parties and progressive anti-imperialist forces in different parts of the world.
With warm greetings of proletarian internationalist solidarity,
BB Pandey Incharge, International Department Central Committee, CPI(ML)
