"Bush assassination plot", a product of Ople's inane hallucinations

The Communist Party of the Philippines today said that the so-called assassination plot against US President George Bush is "simply a product of the inane hallucinating mind of Foreign Secretary Blas Ople" and the usual spin of the AFP psywar production unit.
"Ople, the AFP and the Macapagal-Arroyo regime desperately wish to impress upon the public that the revolutionary movement is 'terrorist' by endlessly fabricating and repeating ludicrous tall-tales ad nauseam," CPP Spokesman Gregorio "Ka Roger" Rosal said. "However, more than a year since their terrorist-labelling campaign, US imperialism and its puppet in the Arroyo regime have only proven themselves to be the real terrorists."
"It is fantastic-actually ridiculous, to say the least-for the CPP to even bother about assassinating Bush," Rosal said.
Rosal said further that while Bush may have long deserved the death sentence for his reprehensible crimes against people and nations all across the globe, but the revolutionary movement has no immediate interest nor actual plan to kill him.
At the same time, Rosal also said that Bush "alive has become a more potent proof of the absurdity that US imperialism has reached-its greed, aggression, bullying, lies, blunders which has caused unprecedented suffering among peoples of the world."
"By oppressing the Iraqi and Afghan people, by lying to the American people, by trampling on the sovereignty of the Philippines and other countries in a bid to impose global Pax Americana, Bush has himself assassinated his own political career," Rosal added.
Rosal stressed that the fighting line of the revolutionary movement is one of people's war and not assassinations. "The revolutionary movement seeks to overthrow US imperialist domination and control and overhaul the oppressive and exploitative system by carrying out a
people's war." ###
