CPP scores AFP for bombing of civilian communities in Sulu

Gregorio "Ka Roger" Rosal, spokesman of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) issued the following statement on the ongoing AFP military operations in Sulu island:

The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) deplores the indiscriminate bombing of communities in Sulu by the the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) that have resulted in the displacement of thousands of people from the towns of Panamao, Luuk, Parang, Indnan, Panglima Estino and Maimbung.

After suffering a large number of casualties from attacks by the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), the AFP has reacted like wild dogs venting their fascist ire against unarmed communities.

We call on the people of Sulu to protest the AFP's large-scale military operations that are wreaking havoc on their lives and livelihood.
