Voted out governor resorts to fabricating lies

Outgoing Governor Faustino Dy, Jr. is fabricating a lie on calling for the suspension of opponent Grace Padaca's proclamation, declaring that the CPP-NPA threatened voters to elect Ms. Padaca.
The NDF-Cagayan Valley wishes to clear the following points:
First, long before the elections and Ms. Padaca's candidacy, the revolutionary movement has strongly condemned the Dy-nasty for its anti-people and counterrevolutionary crimes. It was the revolutionary movement which first put forth the sharp declaration that the downfall of a Dynasty guilty of land grabbing, militarization and corruption was inevitable.
Second, Dy's defeat is the result of unity and determination, in and out of polling precincts, of the broad ranks of the people. It was not brought about by "scare tactics" of the NPA as he would like it to seem. The legal national-democratic mass movement also put forward the call for Dy's ouster even before the elections, conveying the aspirations of a people dejected by the Dynasty's rule. It was easy for the masses to take up this call: bringing the Dynasty to its end was the same as putting an end to autocracy and warlordism.
When Ms. Padaca fought against Faustino Dy, Jr., she did not fight against the giant parasite by herself. Rallying round and one with her were the legal national-democratic organizations, progressive politicians and political parties who stood for change, church people who desired clean and honest elections, civil libertarians who wanted progress, and thousands of people who have been deprived of the freedom of electoral choice for 30 years. It was their strength, hard work, and bravery that brought the Dynasty down; it is this strength, hard work, and bravery that will ensure his Empire's demise, no matter how much untruths, postponements, and threats he may desperately attempt to do. In the face of the people's strength, hard work, and bravery, who will ever doubt that a dying dynasty cannot be toppled?
Aside from the fact that the people need not be threatened to fight against his oppressive rule, threatening and scaring the people, just so a candidate may win a post in the reactionary government, run counter to the NPA's political and military regulations. The NPA firmly upheld its task of educating the people regarding the reactionary character of elections in the framework of a semi-colonial and semi-feudal society; and the necessity of armed revolutionary struggle as the primary means of destroying the reactionary state and replacing it with a new, truly democratic one.
The NPA conscientiously respected the masses' opinion and respective choices. It painstakingly educated them on how to perceive, and how to organize themselves during, the elections.
Truly, there was widespread cheating, violence and intimidation and it is the Dynasty who is guilty of these crimes.
We reiterate that the CPP-NPA did not threaten the people, in any way, to vote for Grace Padaca. Also, in any manner and form, in the past up to the present, there has been no direct link between her and the CPP-NPA. We also condemn the COMELEC's issuance of postponing Ms. Padaca's proclamation by merit of Dy's baseless claim.
In the final analysis, it was the valiant people of Isabela that brought the Emperor to his knees. It is a continuing resistance in the tradition of our militant and fearless struggle against enemies no more than paper tigers. In the face of repression, hardship and sacrifice, at concrete paths and revolutionary country sides, onto the final battle to emancipate our oppressed class!
Long live Isabelinos!
