Statement of CPP spokesman Gregorio "Ka Roger" Rosal: Hungry people are flocking to NPA to help fight Arroyo government

"Thousands upon thousands are flocking daily to the New People's Army and revolutionary mass organizations in the cities and countryside determined to fight the Arroyo government and struggle for the overthrow of the ruling oppressive and exploitative system.
The support of the Filipino people amplifies the strength of the NPA.
The current military superiority of the US-supported Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) is no match to the much superior strength that the New People's Army gets from the support of the Filipino people.
The people are demanding that the Arroyo government be punished for its anti-people and pro-imperialist economic policies which have resulted in massive poverty and hunger.
In response, the New People's Army will carry out bigger and more frequent tactical offensives. Through the support of the people, the NPA shall be able to carry out bigger and more frequent tactical offensives against the Arroyo government's armed forces.
The people celebrate each victorious tactical offensive carried out by the NPA.
Every successful tactical offensive will help in the overall effort of the Filipino people to overthrow the corrupt, fascist, pro-imperialist and anti-people Arroyo regime."
