Fake president shows bad judgment and incompetence

By Prof. Jose Maria Sison
NDFP Chief Political Consultant
20 May 2006

The fake president of the Government of the Republic of the Philippines (GRP) shows bad judgment and incompetence for having a loony like Norberto Gonzales as national security adviser.

She is not even aware that some of her top loyalist military and police officers consider Gonzales as No. 1 national security risk for being a nut put in charge of national security. At the same time, Filipino and Moro revolutionaries condemn him as a long-time snitch reporting to the US Central Intelligence Agency since the 1970s when he pretended to be a Muslim and sidled up to the leaders of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF).

Only a lying loony can accuse me of ordering the 'assassination' of the fake president and opposition leaders and handpicking the "assassins". And only a fake president, with a grievously bad judgment can allow someone like Gonzales to spread patent lies and self-contradictions in logic and reality. I have neither the authority nor the capability to order the punishment of Arroyo and her gangmates. The organs of leadership of the revolutionary movement are in the Philippines.

In my personal estimate, it is unlikely that the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) and the New People's Army (NPA) would soon be able to arrest, try and punish the fake president Arroyo and her subalterns like the loony twins Norberto Gonzales and justice secretary Raul Gonzales. But it is most likely that their bitter rivals and enemies within the ruling system (who have their own armed following within and outside the factionalized military and police forces) would wish and try to kill them soon because of the fierce struggle for bureaucratic loot.

In my further estimate, the CPP and the NPA would rather allow the fake president and her close subalterns to stay alive and to further discredit and damn themselves with their puppetry, corruption, brutality and mendacity. The current regime unwittingly debilitates the entire ruling system of big compradors and landlords. It incites the broad masses of the people to rise up in mass protests as well as to join the armed revolutionary movement based in the countryside.

It is clear from the pronouncements of the CPP and the reports on the tactical offensives of the NPA in www.philippinerevolution.org that in terms of politico-military action the revolutionary forces give the highest priority to carrying out guerrilla warfare on the basis of an ever expanding and deepening mass base in the countryside, while letting the forms of political struggle in the cities remain legal and defensive in the main.

By directing its military and police minions to kidnap, torture and murder patriotic and progressive legal activists, the Arroyo regime is driving so many people to join the armed revolutionary movement based in the countryside. Thus, Ka Roger of the CPP information department has correctly described the fake president as the best recruiter for the NPA.

At the same time, the legal democratic forces and broad masses of the people in the urban areas continue to grow in strength. They are not intimidated by the extrajudicial killings and forced disappearances ordered by the regime but are further roused to engage in various forms of resistance. ###
