April 2004. In a statement on March 29, the CPP Mindanao Commission said that "..the NPA in Mindanao was able to launch over 100 tactical offensives in 2003, all of them victorious."

March 2, 2004. The commanding officer of the 42nd IB and a soldier were captured by the Romulo Jallores Command (RJC; NPA-Bicol) in Tinambac, Camarines Sur.

February 28, 2004. An NPA platoon attacked the 77th IB detachment in Kalinga, seizing an M60 machine gun and assorted ammunition. The NPA also dealt blows against enemy reinforcement the following day.

February 23, 2004. An element of the 5th Scout Rangers was wounded in an encounter with the NPA in Mandaon, Masbate.

February 23, 2004. The Benito Tesorio Front (BTF) of the NPA-Cagayan Valley disarmed the campaign convoy of Congressman Giorgidi "Gigi" Aggabao and in Echague, Isabela. Fifteen assorted firearms were confiscated.

Feruary 15, 2004. Members of the Bonifacio Pasakan Command-Guerrilla Front 2 of Negros captured Eduardo Raya, a CAFGU element, when Red fighters attacked the headquarters of the 44th CAFGU Coy under the 61st IB in Himamaylan City. (Also cited here.)

Feruary 15, 2004. Members of the Boy Gaitmaitan Command attacked a CAFGU detachment in Himamaylan City and seized six high-powered firearms.

Feruary 14, 2004. An eight-member unit of the NPA attacked the "Linda" Detachment of the 1102nd Police Provincial Mobile Group in Nabunturan. Confiscated were six assorted firearms.

Feruary 9, 2004. The NPA ambushed the deputy chief of the Mauban PNP who has been proven to be a protector of the illegal drugs trade, illegal fishing, illegal logging and extortion activities.

Feruary 8, 2004. Elements of the CAFGU under the 77th IB surrendered in an attack by an NPA platoon in Pinukpuk. Fourteen high-power firearms, a Motorola and VHF radio were seized.

Despite the very large concentration of AFP and PNP forces in Southern Tagalog, a composite force from the Melito Glor Command (Southern Tagalog) and the Edgardo Dagle Command (Batangas) successfully launched simultaneous attacks on the Philippine Air Force (PAF) 740th Combat Support Group's camp in Balayan, Batangas and its detachment beside a NAPOCOR plant. January, 2004. The Party, the NPA and the revolutionary movement are firmly and successfully carrying out policies that cover campaigning for reactionary elections within revolutionary territories. Politicians submit themselves to revolutionary political power, giving guarantees that they will do no harm to the people and revolutionary movement and will be prohibited from bringing in firearms, armed groups and goons. December 16, 2003. 11 M16s, an M79 grenade launcher and several ammunition were seized in a raid against an RPA camp in Sityo Kakha, Barangay Tamlac, Sta. Catalina.

The Christians for National Liberation contributed meaningfully to strengthening the armed movement in the countryside by providing material support and deploying members to the New People's Army (NPA). The Party recognizes its immense contribution to the initial establishment of guerrilla fronts nationwide.

October 30, 2003. In Hagonoy, ten firearms were confiscated in a victorious punitive NPA raid against a detachment of the PNP Maritime Command, which protects big capitalist fishers and extorts from small fishermen.

October 2,2003. A small unit of the NPA Misamis Occidental Front Operational Command (MOFOC) dealt blows on the larger 5th IB Alpha Coy and the 34th Military Intelligence Company during an encounter in Sapang Dalaga.

October, 2003. One of the branches and revolutionary unions' main tasks is to support the armed struggle. Each branch has adopted a guerrilla front to support in regions that need help the most. They continuously gather material support, including guns, ammunition and other military equipment. But the revolutionary workers' movement's most important contribution is the scores of new fighters it deploys to the New People's Army every year. Recently, a large number out of the hundreds of contractual workers fired from their jobs decided to go to the countryside and join the NPA.
