On Thursday, April 12th, the Kabataang Makabayan (KM) – Southern Tagalog distributed leaflets and stickers in various locations within the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) campus. This was in line with commemoration of the 55th anniversary of the New People’s Army (NPA).

The materials highlighted the love and support of the oppressed masses as a great source of strength and inspiration for the NPA’s continued struggle towards the success of the democratic people’s revolution. It also emphasized how the NPA is working to raise the awareness of the toiling masses regarding the social conditions in the Philippines.

Last December, Kabataang Makabayan members held a lightning protest at the Oblation Park to commemorate KM’s 59th anniversary and the 55th year since the re-establishment of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP).
