In celebration of the 55th anniversary of the New People’s Army (NPA), revolutionary forces from the National Democratic Front (NDF)-Cavite and Kabataang Makabayan (KM)-Cavite carried out on April 6 the street art and postering along the Emilio Aguinaldo Highway in the towns of Dasmariñas and Imus.

Among the calls are for workers, the poor and the youth to join the NPA and advance the people’s war. The words “Ka Joma Lives” were also featured in the operation to give high recognition to the heroic life and struggle of Comrade Jose Maria “Ka Joma” Sison, founding chairman of the Communist Party of the Philippines, and who played a key role in building the NPA.

“Our propaganda offensives do not end here. This is part of the increasing wave of revolutionary propaganda to the masses in the coming times,” NDF-Cavite said.

The group says this activity is also part of the preparations for the upcoming 51st anniversary of the founding of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines on April 24. The NDFP represents and unites all the oppressed and exploited sectors of the Philippines. It has 18 allied organizations at present.

“To launch these forms of propaganda is relevant to the masses. Especially now that the people suffer so much from the intensifying exploitation by the US-Marcos regime and the US imperialist, it is only appropriate to encourage them to join the NPA and arm the oppressed people. Thus, they will focus it on all exploiters and oppressors. All for the fight against the US-Marcos regime’s terrorist plot and US Imperialist plunder,” according to the NDF-Cavite.

It can be recalled that in March, the NFP-Rizal led revolutionary forces in Rizal also carried out a series of graffiti and postering, and distribution of pamphlets in celebration of the anniversary of the people’s army. The two provinces are both adjacent to the national capital region.
