This is to warn the public against a certain individual posing as “Ka Butil”/”Ka Bente” of the New People’s Army in Western Samar, who in recent months has been approaching several individuals to extort money allegedly as a representative of the People’s Democratic Government. This impostor is not authorized by the People’s Democratic Government to collect financial payments of any kind. We advise the public to be wary of this person and to transact only with legitimate representatives of the revolutionary government through properly established channels. The Arnulfo Ortiz Command calls on this impostor to immediately stop these illegal activities which incriminate the revolutionary movement and deceive innocent people.#
