Ngayong araw, itinalaga ni Duterte si Antonio Parlade Jr. bilang deputy director-general ng National Security Council (NSC) matapos ang kanyang pagreretiro sa Armed Forces of the Philippines. Muling binigyang-pabor ni Duterte ang isa na namang sagad-saring anti-mamamayang opisyal ng AFP-PNP upang konsolidahin ang hanay nito at ang nalalabing kapangyarihan ni Duterte sa poder. Tiyak na ipagpapatuloy ni Parlade ang mga dati niyang gawi na pagpapalaganap ng kasinungalingan at paghahasik ng takot at teror sa bayan gamit ang kanyang bagong posisyon sa NSC.
