On behalf of our party, Communist Party of Turkey-Marxist Leninist (TKP-ML) and its affiliated Turkish Workers and Peasants Liberation Army (TİKKO), we salute the 54th Anniversary of the Communist Party of the Philippines, the leader of the Philippine working class and laboring people, with our communist and internationalist feelings. The Communist Party of the Philippines and the People’s War led by it have had an important place in the history of world proletarian revolutions for many years, and we are proud to be a sister party to this respected Party.

While the effects of the inter-imperialist crisis, which deepened further with the Russian invasion of Ukraine in the early 2022, continue in the international arena, all ruling classes, without exception, are positioned according to these sharpening contradictions. In the year 2022, which we are leaving behind, with the conflict between the US-EU and Russian imperialists evolving into an armed conflict, albeit covertly, in the field of Ukraine, the imperialist capitalists; They are preparing for the possibility that this conflict will jump to a higher stage in the coming years and the parties will openly target each other. Leaving behind a year in which nuclear war threats were openly voiced, “young” imperialist powers such as China are preparing to get a share of the possible new market war; The “masters of the world” from Germany to Japan explain that they are spending more on armaments. In this sense, for the year 2022, which we left behind, humanity quickly forgot the coronavirus pandemic, which emerged as a product of the destruction of nature as a result of the capitalist system’s greed for exploitation and excessive profit, but the imperialist capitalists, which are a real virus for the working class and the oppressed world rights, prepared for new market wars. .

All these and similar developments led to the emergence of the lies that “classes are dead” and that “identity-culture struggles” have become essential. Today, everyone talks about the sharpening of class antagonisms and the growth of class conflicts in accordance with their own class position. As a matter of fact, the anger of the peoples of the world, from the Middle East to South Asia, from Latin America to African countries, is an indicator of this. We see the burning effect of the revolt of the poor in many countries such as Iran, Tunisia, Mexico and Chile. We witness how women and young masses, in the first place, alarm the governments even in the absence of a communist leadership. In such a process, Marxist-Leninist-Maoist forces, in order to fulfill their mission, lead the working class and toiling masses of the people in their own countries, while raising the People’s War, on the other hand, they should develop a common-united movement in the international arena. Just like the Communist Party of the Philippines, our Party strives for these two tasks.

Days before we celebrate the 54th anniversary of the Communist Party of the Philippines, we are saddened by the loss of the working class and people of the Philippines, Jose Maria Sison, the esteemed leader of your Party, CPI. The deep sorrow for the loss of Comrade Sison does not only apply to the people of the Philippines and the CPI. Our Party and the world Marxist-Leninist-Maoist movement will deeply feel the physical absence of Ka Joma, who has made valuable contributions in building an important bridge in international relations between the FKP and TKP-ML.

While Ka Joma was a friend of the peoples of the world, he has been the nightmare of imperialists and their local collaborators, all class and enemies of communism. Therefore, when he passed away, they said, “A new era begins for the Philippines without Jose Maria Sison and we will all be better off for it.” The Philippines they are talking about is nothing but their own system of exploitation, the slavery of imperialism. No matter how loud they shout, Comrade Sison will forever live in peace in the hearts of the peoples of the world and continue to frighten the imperialists and their native lackeys.
