Zamboanguita ‘surrenderee’ a farmer, not an NPA

Another innocent farmer has fallen prey to the NTF-ELCAC’s infamous E-CLIP program.

Last Wednesday, Rene Janayan, a resident of Zamboanguita Negros Oriental supposedly yielded a .45 calibre pistol, ammunition and a rifle grenade to the Gov. Manuel Sagarbarria.

Even at first glance, it is obvious that Janayan’s surrender reeks of the corrupt scheme of the ELCAC, notable in the pairing of a random old pistol and a rifle grenade unusable with such a pistol.

Needless to say, Janayan is a mere farmer, and like the majority of the Negrosanons, sunk in the depths due to the worsening economic crisis, especially currently during the tiempo muerto and cheap prices of copra, banana, and other cash crops. As wolves in sheep’s clothing, state agents exploit the people’s vulnerabilities for livelihood and financial opportunities, offering a cheap exchange, in cash or in kind, should they ‘surrender’.

Janayan is the 6th fake surrenderee since May, from the so-called ‘dismantled’ Southeast Negros Guerrilla Front. As they blabber that only remnants operate in the front as they are pressured by their imperialist masters in US to ‘shift to external defense’ against China, the debt-driven economy shouldered by the people will only disprove the enemy’s claims of a weakening revolution. Crisis will only generate resistance.

The RMPC-NPA calls on the masses to be vigilant against the treacherous and mercenary forces of the AFP, PNP and ELCAC, and to continue supporting the armed revolution: the only true solution for the semi-colonial and semi-feudal system. ###
