KM-Batangas posts stickers for the NDFP's 53rd anniversary

,

Kabataang Makabayan (KM, or Patriotic Youth)-Batangas marked the 53rd anniversary of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) on April 24 by posting stickers bearing revolutionary calls. They carried out the activity on the night of April 24 in selected Batangas towns and cities.

The stickers carry illustrations created by revolutionary youth from Southern Tagalog. These depict people seeking revolutionary change. The drawings feature revolutionary youth-students locking arms to defend the people against the US-Marcos regime.

“We, the youth who come from the working class, peasantry, and petty bourgeoisie, must take part in the national democratic revolution until we can build a truly democratic people’s government that will solve the basic problems of our society,” KM-Batangas stated.

The group said that the key to achieve a free and progressive Philippines is to strengthen the New People’s Army (NPA), the “armed mass organization that will cripple the reactionary forces of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police,” it added.

The NPA provincial unit, the Eduardo Dagli Command, operates in Batangas. As recently as December 2025, the people’s army in the province organized and led a celebration for the anniversary of the Communist Party of the Philippines.

Party cadres, the NPA unit, and guests from various sectors from rural and urban areas joined the activity. They successfully held it amid the military’s focused and sustained military operations (FSMO).

To further strengthen the people’s army in the province, KM-Batangas called on Batangueño youth: “Our strength and skills are needed, so join the Eduardo Dagli Command NPA-Batangas!”
