Traitor-“surrenderer” agents harassed peasant couple Jolibert and Rica Basilio on July 9 to force them to surrender and cooperate with the 94th IB. The agents threatened them in their house in Sitio Cabagal, Barangay Buenavista, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.

The agents told the couple they will be killed if they did not surrender and cooperate with the 94th IB. They also stole the Basilio couple’s cell phones.

The incident terrorized not only the couple but also their entire community.

The brutal 94th IB and its agents under the Marcos regime committed 66 cases of human rights violations involving at least 1,800 people in Barangay Buenavista.

Lt. Col. Ziegfred Tayaban currently leads the 94th IB.
