The vile video released by the China Daily echoes the racist propaganda of the US imperialists in the early 1900s, when Filipinos were derided as “monkeys without tails,” revealing the colonial contempt of imperial America.

Pro-American zealots like Gibo Teodoro and Jay Tarriela were quick to denounce the video, which was clearly aimed at them and their boss Marcos, and their gross subservience to the United States. The Marcos regime invokes the arbitral ruling only to serve the US geopolitical agenda of expanding military presence in the South China Sea to provoke China and prepare for war. Their subservience to the US and anti-Chinese tirades have succeeded in baiting the China Daily to go down to new lows.

While overeager to condemn China, Teodoro, Tarriela and their pro-American cohorts remain silent amid renewed armed attacks of the US imperialists against Iran, which again have sabotaged peace negotiations, driven up oil prices, and inflicted grave hardships on the Filipino people.
