Three minors were killed when members of the 5th Infantry Battalion fired upon civilians in the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) Extension Camp, under the Darapanan Camp, in Amai Manabilang, Lanao del Sur on February 20, around 4:00 PM.

The military soldiers fired several shots followed by three big bombs that the residents assume as cannon bombs. The series of strafing and bombing lasted for 15 minutes.

The victims were four families consisting of 21 individuals mostly children and women. A four-month pregnant woman was among the victims.

The bodies of the three killed were brought to the 5th IB 99 camp in Ranao-Baning Amai Manabilang, Lanao del Sur.
