Alpeche on 303rd IBde's operations against "NPA-allied organizations": Reprehensible and desperate!
Reprehensible and desperate—this is how Ka Kanor Alpeche, deputy spokesperson of Leonardo Panaligan Command-New People’s Army (LPC-NPA), described the 303rd IBde’s effort in “countering urban operations of NPA-allied organizations.” The 303rd IBDe exposes the innate warmongering character of the AFP in serving the joint class dictatorship of the landlords and big comprador bourgeoisies.
“There is no such thing as NPA-allied organizations, only organizations who hope for a society of genuine peace, development, and justice. It is hilarious that we keep hearing the reactionary government moving their deadline a hundred times already. They cannot accept the fact that the revolutionary movement won’t cease to exist because the revolution is bound to win. That being said, their efforts have become more desperate each time. They randomly pick a civilian, forced him/her to admit that he/she is part of the NPA,” Alpeche rebutted.
According to him, since the onset of their counter-insurgency program, majority of the casualties they presented to the public as Red Fighters are civilians, particularly farmers who were landless and deprived of their rights.
In Central Negros, Robert Estelloso is the latest victim of the AFP’s old scheme. He was a mere habal-habal driver who fell into the brutal hands of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and Philippine National Police (PNP).
The Negrosanons are keenly aware of the true nature and purpose of the 303rd IBde’s efforts. For them, this means a widespread terror from the countryside to the cities. It means unabated attacks against people who decry injustice and inequality.
Thus, Ka Kanor Alpeche called on all the revolutionary forces and the progressive ones to stay vigilant as the 303rd IBde goes on rampage this last quarter. He strongly encouraged the Negrosanon to arouse, organize, and mobilize themselves to frustrate the efforts of the ruling class along with its killing machineries.
“We will also do our part under the leadership of the advanced detachment of the revolution, the CPP. We assure the Negrosanon that every bullet of our guns has a political purpose—that is to liberate the Negrosanons as well as the Filipino people,” Alpeche ended.
