COMPATRIOTS-KM Narrm and the revolutionary Filipino masses remain steadfast in their commitment to genuine national democracy in the Philippines. Despite leadership changes within the ruling elite, the conditions of the Filipino people continue to worsen due to the systematic subversion of the Philippine state to its master’s interests of continuing oppression and exploitation of the Filipino people in the Philippines and overseas.

US imperialism remains the number one enemy of the Filipino masses and the revolutionary movement, as it continues to use the Philippines as a dumping ground for excess products and as a source of cheap labor and raw materials. The Philippine state remains a puppet of the enemy, as it only implements laws and policies that serve US imperialist interests. This is evident in the mass export of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), with an estimated 7,000 Filipinos leaving the Philippines every day.

US imperialism and the puppet republic also use the Philippines to establish US military bases in an effort to pursue dominance over China in its inter-imperialist war to consolidate US imperialism in the Asia-Pacific. Militant Filipino migrants and youth stand firm in their call that the only real solution to the basic problems of the Filipino people is the Protracted People’s War being led by the Communist Party of the Philippines through the New People’s Army.

Despite the US-Marcos regime’s attempts to crush the revolutionary struggle of the Filipino masses, the spirit of revolution still remains in the hearts of the Filipino people. With the intensification of the sociopolitical and economic crisis in the Philippines, the Filipino people, both at home and abroad, find their liberation only through armed struggle. The violence enacted by US imperialism and the puppet Philippine republic can only be dismantled through armed revolution.
