It is very alarming and condemnable that efforts by some concerned citizens to ease the hardships of fellow Filipinos brought about by the pandemic and government’s lockdowns, such as setting up community pantries are being subjected to blatant, malicious accusations and scrutiny by Duterte’s NTF-ELCAC.

It is incomprehensible for a right-minded citizen why such a good samaritan’s deed is being red-tagged and its implementors treated like terrorists that should be “profiled” by the state forces. But it is happening now because the country is being ruled by an ailing madman and criminal Duterte and his fascist cohorts who are becoming paranoid of being ousted by hungry and angry Filipinos.
