The relentless focused military operations (FMO) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP)’s #DiMasaligan79IB in Northern Negros, intended to ensue a decisive armed encounter against the revolutionary armed group, has been successfully foiled by the Red commanders and fighters of Roselyn Jean Pelle Command of the New People’s Army (RJPC-NPA) with the unwavering support of the masses by evading head-on clashes.

To appear victorious in their combat operations, #DiMasaligan79IB unleashed a disinformation campaign influencing the public opinion of their superiority, unwittingly displaying their desperation after failure to achieve their deadline after deadline to crush the revolutionary armed struggle.

#DiMasaligan79IB publicized the surrender of four supposed NPA last July. Lt. Col.Arnel Calaoagan, the #DiMasaligan79IB Commanding Officer is a big fat liar.

The presented surrenderees were four unremolded NPA Red fighters who could not withstand the hardships and sacrifice in rendering service to the vast masses. Two of them flew to Luzon attempting to evade AFP surveillance. Thus, they should be identified as forced surrenderees.

After one legitimate encounter transpired in Barangay Pinapugasan, Escalante City, Negros Occidental last February 21, that martyred two Red fighters and killed a civilian, #DiMasaligan79IB pronounced that they are pursuing ‘five rebel remnants’. They further announced the recovery of a total of 16 high-powered rifles (HPR) after the incident.

After the supposed surrender of four NPAs, can Calaoagan further declare that there is a lone Red fighter under RJPC-NPA? Moreover, can Calaoagan even admit that RJPC-NPA has now without HPR?

The made-up arms cache discovery by #DiMasaligan79IB in Barangay Pinowayan, Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental recently, is a continued attempt to force their imaginary story relating to the illegal arrest of Alforque brothers (who were minors) presented by #DiMasaligan79IB to the media as ‘NPA child warriors’ and the recovery of various firearms. In their recent made-up story, AFP discovered four firearms including two Garand rifles, one M14 rifle and a shotgun. These firearms do not belong to the revolutionary NPA.

RJPC-NPA reiterates its challenge to AFP to make public the records, including the serial numbers, of the recovered firearms of the Escalante incident, as well as the previous and the DSB recoveries. It seems that from AFP’s series of ‘arms cache discoveries’ and ‘recoveries’, RJPC-NPA has unlimited to numerous HPRs.

Afterwards, series of barangay-wide activities were called upon by #DiMasaligan79IB in Calatrava, Negros Occidental. Residents were forced to attend, else they will be tagged as ‘rebel’ or ‘NPA supporter’. A few bunch of revolutionary mass organizations only signed the attendance sheets and slipped away from the activity area to avoid listening to black propagandas and smearing campaign against the revolutionary movement. #DiMasaligan79IB repeatedly presented James ‘Ka Joross’ Doremon, as a rebel returnee, parroting narratives written by the AFP. Ka Joross, who went AWOL after rendering NPA service on and off for a total of 6 months, has become #DiMasaligan79IB’s befitting poster boy for he is unknowledgeable of the revolutionary cause and definitely ‘di masaligan’ (unreliable).

The FMOs and the disinformation campaign by the #DiMasaligan79IB in Northern Negros is not only conducted in the AFP’s pursuit of ‘NPA remnants’ and ‘NPA supporters’. #DiMasaligan79IB’s sustained military operations are employed to defend the properties and interests of big landlord-comprador bourgeoisies, including foreign direct investments, in the field of eco-tourism, agricultural plantations, mining, renewable energy, for reclassification of land use, reclamation, among others. The AFP, Philippine National Police (PNP), and its paramilitaries are the true defenders, not of the ordinary citizens, but that of moneyed and landed class.

The increasing number of human rights violations by the state forces is a result to stop people’s clamor against destroying people’s lives and livelihood.

As election season is coming, politicians who fully and willingly cooperate to the anti-insurgency campaign, felt on the ground as anti-people campaign, is facing a downhill in their political career as people are deliberately realizing that the leanings of their political leaders is connected to the security of their lives and livelihood. Aspiring electoral candidates must do away with AFP, PNP and NTF-Elcac or face the might of the united masses against your political career.####
