KM urges DLSU students to join the people's war
Kabataang Makabayan (KM) members launched a postering campaign and distributed zines inside the campus of De La Salle University (DLSU)-Manila on April 3 to highlight the 56th anniversary of the New People’s Army (NPA). They called on Lasallians to join the people’s army and participate in advancing the people’s war in the countryside.
KM members posted stickers in classrooms and other parts of the campus. They also left and disseminated handmade zines containing revolutionary writings.
KM members carried out the activity as part of its promotion of the people’s army. The activity was conducted clandestinely to ensure their security.
“Revolutionary Lasallians raise their fists in celebration of the recent anniversary of the founding of the New People’s Army!” KM-Guiller Cadano Chapter declared. According to the chapter, they remain committed in further strengthening its ranks in order to advance the people’s war in the countryside.
The chapter called on fellow Lasallians to uphold the revolutionary history of the youth and continue organizing among the toiling masses to overthrow the semi-colonial and semi-feudal social system. “This path can only be achieved by strengthening the armed struggle waged by the NPA under the leadership of the Communist Party of the Philippines,” stated the chapter.
In recent days, KM chapters launched various assemblies, rallies, postering campaigns, and grafitti operations in different universities across Metro Manila and other parts of the country.
