The New People’s Army-West Camarines Sur (NPA Norben Gruta Command or NGC) carried out punitive actions against two AFP intelligence agents in the past months. Identified as Arnold Rellama and Rudy Buenaobra, both were known as bad elements in the village.

Agent Rellama was punished on August 22 in the morning. He was involved in the AFP’s encirclement of the position of comrades where Red fighters were martyred.

Buenaobra, on the other hand, is an active CAFGU (Civilian Armed Forces Geographical Unit) member and resident of Barangay Binahan who is currently stationed at the military camp in Sityo Okwaw, Barangay Baya in the town of Ragay. Aside from being a CAFGU, Buenaobra is also an active surveillance agent who used selling ice cream as a front in the communities. The NPA found his CAFGU ID on his person.

NGC spokesperson Ka Michael Robredo said the series of punitive actions is part of the implementation of revolutionary justice by the democratic people’s government. The two were proven guilty of crimes against the revolutionary movement and the oppressed and exploited masses.
