This National Youth Month, Kabataang-Makabayan –KM Bikol salutes the Filipino youth who dares to struggle and who stands for the interest of the people. All throughout the history of the Filipino people’s struggle, the youth has contributed significantly to the advancement of change and the realization of the revolution’s victory.
Ngayong buwan ng Pambansang Araw ng Kabataan, taas-kamaong nagpupugay ang Kabataang Makabayan – KM Bikol sa lahat ng kabataang Pilipino nangangahas lumaban at naninindigan para sa kapakanan ng sambayanan. Sa kasaysayan ng pakikibaka ng mamamayang Pilipino, malaki ang ambag ng kabataan sa pagsusulong ng pagbabago at pagtatagumpay ng mga rebolusyon.
Malugod na nakikiisa ang NDF-Bikol sa paggunita sa Pandaigdigang Araw ng Internasyunal na Makataong Batas ngayong Agosto 12. Bilang isang entidad na may pantay na pampulitikang katayuan sa GRP, may sariling teritoryong saklaw, may pinaiiral na mga batas at may sariling hukbo, kinatawan ng CPP ang NDFP pagpirma sa nasabing batas bilang tagapagtaguyod ng Protocol I at II ng Geneva Conventions
NDF-Bikol wholeheartedly joins in the commemoration of the International Day of International Humanitarian Law on August 12. As a belligerent entity to the GRP, with its own territory, political power and constitution and law as well as its own army, the NDFP represented the CPP as a signatory of the said law as an adherent of Protocols I and II of the Geneva Conventions.
Imagine a world shrouded in darkness, where all space is controlled and all color blacked out. Everything is sleek but dull and uniform. Creative expression is limited. Paint, ink and paper are monopolized by the elite and the State that represents them. Whoever uses it for the purpose not intended is vilified.
Ipagpalagay ang isang mundong nakalukob ang kadiliman, kung saan ang lahat ng espasyo ay kontrolado at walang ibang kulay na maaaring umiral. Maaaring lahat ay makinis ngunit patay at pare-pareho lamang ang mga hugis. Ang malikhaing pamamahayag ay limitado.
Palpak at hindi na makatatakas pa ang AFP-PNP at rehimeng US-Duterte sa kanilang pananagutan sa pagpaslang sa sibilyang sina Jemar Palero at Marlon Naperi. Angkinin man nila ang lahat ng rekurso sa propaganda, punuin ang mga balita ng kanilang paninira, baluktutin-baligtarin-dagdagan pa ang naratibo- hindi nila malilinlang at mabubulag ang mamamayan, higit ang pamilya’t kaanak ng mga biktima.
The AFP-PNP and US-Duterte regime have failed and cannot anymore escape their accountability in killing civilians Jemar Palero and Marlon Naperi. They can own all the propaganda resources, sully the news with their debasement, crook-twist-swell the narrative—they cannot deceive and blind the people, most especially the families and krelatives of the victims.
Panibagong mga restriksyon sa mobilidad at pinahigpit na mga lockdown ang ipapataw sa bansa sa harap ng banta ng isa na namang Covid-19 variant na mas malala kaysa sa mga nauna. Ngunit sa katunayan, mayroong pang epidemyang pinakamapinsala sa lahat na matagal nang lumalaganap sa bansa – higit pa sa Covid-19.
Further restrictions to public mobility and harsher lockdowns are to be enforced in the country in the face of a new Covid-19 variant said to be more forbidding than the previous ones. However, there is another epidemic, much more vicious than anything else, that has been spreading across the country – even more ruthless than Covid-19.
