Makabayan-Central Luzon holds assembly in Pampanga
Makabayan-Central Luzon members and parties gathered in San Fernando, Pampanga on January 27 in preparation for the upcoming 2025 election. The gathering upheld the coalition’s readiness to compete in the electoral campaign to extend to the people the agenda for immediate relief for the people and the country’s sovereignty.
Some of the Makabayan senatorial candidates attended the assembly. Jerome Adonis, Mody Floranda, Liza Maza, Alyn Andamo, Daning Ramos, and Teddy Casiño spoke at the gathering.
“The Makabayan Coalition candidate senators and progressive partylists are one in amplifying the call of the people. They are the people’s partners in demanding free education, decent jobs, fair wages, land for farmers, and social justice,” Makabayan-Central Luzon stated.
Makabayan president Maza congratulated the successful regional assembly of Makabayan-Central Luzon. She said, “Makabayan is emboldened to fight in this 2025 midterm elections because our ace is the national-democratic program.”
She added, the people’s choice is not only between darkness and evil because there are patriotic candidates.
The election campaign will officially begin on February 11 for candidates at the national level and on March 28 in the local position. In the face of this, Makabayan volunteers and campaigners are constantly and with full efforts going door to door to reach the largest number of citizens and mobilize them for their well-being.
