Warm revolutionary greetings to all the Filipino youth in all corners of the world!

This occasion of the anniversary of the New People’s Army is special, because we must meet a great challenge. A challenge to defend our nation against the looming crisis, and the threat of war. We vow to dedicate our time, talents, and skills for the revolution. This is our only hope, because we are all being made to suffer by the corrupt politicians like Marcos Jr. and his imperialist masters. The semi-colonial and semi-feudal system brings us to ruin, this system will kill us. We must urgently carry forward the people’s democratic revolution!

Let us celebrate the 57th anniversary of the New People’s Army and strive to carry forward the armed struggle! Let’s raise a red salute to the great martyrs of the people, to Jose Maria Sison, Benito Tiamzon, Wilma Austria-Tiamzon, Menandro Villanueva, Myrna Sularte, Luis Jalandoni, Jordan Mopon, Jerlyn Rose Doydora and many others that dedicated their lives to smashing the rotten and oppressive system! Their lives and struggle serve as a guide and model for the thousands of youths who continue the fight. Long live the heroes and martyrs of the Filipino people!

We are on the edge of an intense and widespread crisis, which no one can evade. A crisis in which the cost of rice reaches PhP 60.00, a crisis where the price of petrol is climbing to PhP 100.00, a crisis where we can no longer find a stable job or peace of mind.

Asia is engulfed by the flames of war. In their imperialist interest, the fascist Donald Trump stoked the flames of war. The United States accelerates the fires of conflict in every corner of the world. It is certain that this conflict will reach the Philippines sooner or later!

We are already reeling from the effects of the crises of war in our day-to-day lives. Because of the US and the neglectful Marcos Jr., the price of food is going up! Because of the US and the uselessness of Marcos Jr., oil has climbed up to sky-high prices! Because of the US and the thief Marcos Jr., our bright future is being stolen away from us. At every turn, opportunities for the Filipino youth at a chance of a just and free society is being stolen away! What is the point of our studies if we will be fed as cannon fodder in an imperialist war at the behest of Marcos and Trump? Are we going to allow ourselves to stay blind and deaf while we are being stolen from and exploited by the foreign exploiters and their puppets?

The presence of US bases and troops are a direct threat to our security. In this decade, we will be challenged, because war is knocking at our door. The so-called ironclad partner of the Philippines has, in truth, many blood debts, and our day of reckoning will come. We are aware that there are war games and exercises between the US and the Philippines, and there are thousands of American troops that are here now. For the mercenary troops of the US and their puppet AFP-PNP, here is our true promise: the final resting place of US imperialism will be in Asia!

It is clear now that the child-killers and corrupt politicians are thieves who are stealing our future away. It is only right that we get ready to fight them at all fields, at every turn! It is our vow to fight them, and we call upon you all to join us in this fight. Let’s come together to take our future back.

We revolutionary youths are witness to the long and glorious history of the Filipino people’s revolution. From the Katipunan which shook the very foundations of Spanish colonialism, and who continued the fight when the Americans invaded us, until the establishment of the New People’s Army, which strives to bring down imperialism, feudalism, and bureaucrat-capitalism. The young revolutionaries – all coming from different classes – are stepping up to the call of history. They are youths who dream of freedom, justice, and peace, and they have served and dedicated their all as red fighters and commanders of the New People’s Army!

The 57th anniversary of our beloved People’s Army is historic and profound. The members of Kabataang Makabayan are steadfast in our belief that the only solution to the rapid descent into crisis and poverty is by strengthening of the New People’s Army. The NPA is the true army of the people, because it stands for the interests and the future of the oppressed masses. Victory is ours! We will establish a people’s government that will stand for everyone’s interests, with the real power to defend the Philippines against the imperialists who are spread terror all around the world.

This is our promise: we will give it our all in strengthening and spreading the reach of the New People’s Army. We will traverse this long and difficult path, in order to finish, once and for all, the chaos and unrest that’s been unleashed by the imperialists and the ruling class. In the socialist future ahead, the Party and the NPA will make sure everyone has enough to eat, has a roof over their heads, has stable work, and dignity. If you want to be a part of this great history, the organizations of the NDFP are always open. Kabataang Makabayan is always looking for the youths who excel, those with a patriotic fighting spirit, to add to our ranks. In the countryside, the red fighters of the New People’s Army are waiting. There is no equal greatness than to serve as a red fighter, join the NPA!
