Only in a society so backward as the Philippines and a government so neglectful as one being led by the US-Duterte regime could the construction of a public hospital take place years after warnings of an upcoming pandemic have been announced by epidemiologists.

Duterte and his imperialist masters should be held accountable for the hundreds of thousands who have been killed, not just by the pandemic, but by a monstrously greedy system that deprives the people of basic needs and services they need to survive.
