New People’s Army (NPA)-Northern Negros (Roselyn Pelle Command) carried out active defense against troops of the 79th Infantry Battalion at Sitio Seraje, Brgy. San Isidro, Toboso, Negros Occidental, 4PM on Thursday, April 6. Two soldiers were confirmed killed in action, others were wounded.

While retreating, the same NPA unit ambushed military troops conducting pursuit operations.

In the evening of April 6, a separate team of Red fighters under the RJPC-NPA also harassed operating troops of the 79th IB.
