CNL-Compatriots launches assembly
Christians for National Liberation-Compatriots (CNL-Compatriots) was successfully established in the US in October 2025. The chapter is the very first sub-sector under the Compatriots to hold a global assembly.
Around 120 church leaders from various chapters and cells of the CNL-Compatriots gathered in the assembly, along with observers from the Compatriots-National Democratic Front, Kabataang Makabayan-Compatriots, Makibaka-Compatriots, and others. Chapters of CNL-Compatriots also held simultaneous gatherings in different countries.
The meeting discussed the Compatriots congress held this year and the progress of the revolutionary movement among Filipino migrants. The CNL leader in the Philippines also delivered a statement. Participants studied and discussed the organization’s documents, including its orientation, program, three-year plan, and campaigns. They also held elections and formed executive committees and councils at the chapter and global levels.
