A US newspaper reported on March 29 that the US Biden administration has stealthily sent thousands of bombs to Israel. This is despite the showy “resolution” of the US at the United Nations that ostensibly calls for a ceasefire (which in reality is not). This is also in the midst of strong condemnation by all countries, except the US, for Israel’s bombing and attack on Rafah, where more than a million Palestinian civilians have sought refuge, during Ramadan.

According to the report, the latest military aid “package” included more than 1,800 MK84 2,000-pound bombs and 500 MK82 500-pound bombs. Israel uses these 2,000-pound bombs for their mass killings and massacres in Gaza. One of its reported uses was the bombing of the Jabalia refugee camp in Gaza, where 100 people were killed, and around the Al-Shati refugee camp last year.

In addition, the US also provided 25 F-35A aircraft and engines worth $2.5 billion which has been previously authorized by the US Congress in the past years. This is part of the $3-billion annual aid the US has poured into Israel over the past decade.

These bombs are the cause of the inexorable increase in the death toll in Gaza. As of March 29, 32,552 Palestinians have been killed and 74,980 wounded. In just 24-hours on March 28, six massacres were committed by the bombing of the US-Israeli forces, of which 62 were killed and 91 were wounded.
