Kabataang Makabayan – Cristina Catalla Chapter firmly salutes and grasps the hands of our brave Farmers and Farmworkers in time with the escalating political situation in the country brought about by the mass exposure and disgust of the massive corruption of the Philippine government scoundrels led by their ringleader Marcos Jr.

The Youth of Cavite are fiercely awakening with each week and political action passing by. KM – Cristina Catalla is continuously striving to transform these mass upheavals into militant, conscious, and revolutionary efforts in educating and organizing the working people and youth for the decisive battles to come to topple the US-backed regime and to demand true freedom for all, an end to militarization and peace in the countryside, national democracy and socialism.

The Youth today are organizing in a broad alliance and gamut of different political organizations, with the National Democratic program uniting them.

The prospects are bright, but so are the challenges highlighted by the continuing aggression of organizing efforts by the agrarian working people in their fight for land reform, from the farmers of Dasmariñas to Silang, the upland farm and hacienda workers, and the fisherfolks of the coastline, not to mention their families of workers or urban poor making up the working population of Cavite in the hundreds of thousands. The military and police state clearly fear the organized upsurge and strengthening of the mass peasants’ movement because the crocodiles and thieves who make up their general staff and officers will be the first targets of revolutionary justice. They fear the working class arising because they know that the vast majority of the people will side with their brothers and sisters in the battles to come.

The task of the Youth is to take advantage of this situation and continue in its work in sowing the seeds for the coming revolutionary harvest, to guard against the vultures and crows who would seek to destroy the mass movement, and to strengthen the armed struggle in the countryside through political and material support to their Red Army, the New People’s Army.
