The Wanted Poster is in Accordance with the NPA Justice System
The release of a WANTED poster by the AMC-NPA-Quezon is a legitimate function of the People’s Democratic Government guided by the policies under the Justice System of the Revolutionary Movement*. It has been implemented and recognized for more than five decades now in the areas of red political power of the revolutionary movement.
Therefore, Ernesto Torre, Jr. of the NTF-ELCAC’s tantrum is ridiculous in branding this action as psy-war and spy-tagging, wherein it is a legitimate judicial process of the people’s democratic government, and crimes against the people of the perpetrators have already been established.
Zena Punada Segui and Gerald Mangao were proven as traitors to the people after crimes they committed were set on trial. These includes endangering the movement and the people in the areas where they previously operated.
Gerald Mangao, after going AWOL in June 2018, despite being urged to return and/or live as a civilian if he no longer wished to continue in the movement, chose instead to compromise with the Armed Forces of the Philippines through his sponsor, former General Antonio Parlade, and later openly engaged in counter-revolutionary activities such as participating in military operations (both combat and intelligence) against NPA units, Party organs, and the people in guerrilla fronts, and disclosing information that endangered the masses and the movement.
Zena Punada, after going AWOL with her husband Jay Segui in October 2018, later surrendered voluntarily to the 85th Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army, and eventually allowed herself to be used as a mouthpiece of the 2nd Infantry Division of the Philippine Army. She led the distortion of truth and recruited among the masses in exchange for the money she received. She agreed to perform as an actress in fictitious scripts prepared by the lousy scriptwriters of the 85th IBPA.
The video statements released featuring Punada, especially the one titled “Once an NPA Leader,” were false because Punada was never been an NPA leader.
The public should not also believe Punada’s story that she was mistreated, molested, and experienced sexual abuse as a minor within the NPA. Her narrative is a fantasy of her lumpen upbringing that engaged in anti-social activities. In fact, it was only within the NPA where Punada experienced true respect for her rights as a person and as a woman.
The filing of charges, investigation, and trial proceedings against Mangao and Punada were the result of popular clamor from the Quezon masses calling for justice for all the harm caused to them by these traitors. The collected evidences were affirmed by the masses themselves and by the former NPA unit to which the two belonged. Mangao and Punada indeed committed capital offenses and must be held accountable.
The issuance of the Wanted Poster by AMC-NPA is a proof that the revolutionary justice process of the People’s Democratic Government is functioning.
The People’s Democratic Government is assuring the masses in Quezon that due process is being observed at all times.
The public is called upon to continue filing complaints and providing information about the enemies of the people and the revolutionary movement.#
