Family, friends, comrades, the party, and organizations worldwide commemorated the third anniversary of Comrade Jose Maria Sison’s death on December 16. They held activities in the Philippines and the Netherlands to remember Ka Joma.

In the Netherlands, the documentary film My Friend the Terrorist was played on December 13. The Jose Maria Sison Legacy Foundation, Friends of the Filipino People in Struggle, and its local organization Maya Solidarity led the activity.

In the Philippines, a local branch of the Communist Party of the Philippines in Rizal province dedicated to Ka Joma its Basic Party Course study on December 16.

In Quezon City, Artista at Manunulat ng Sambayanan chapters honored Ka Joma through a lightning rally they led at the University of the Philippines-Diliman on December 17. They held the activity in the middle of the annual Lantern Parade on campus that attracts thousands of distant spectators.

The rally also highlighted the upcoming 57th anniversary of the Party on December 26 and the call to the Filipino people, especially the youth, to participate in the people’s war and join the New People’s Army.
