Compatriots establishes 2 new chapters. The Compatriots-NDFP reported founding new chapters in Hong Kong and New Zealand on March 29. The assemblies were held in celebration of the 57th anniversary of the New People’s Army (NPA).

LAB gathers 100 members. Around 100 members of the Liga ng Agham para sa Bayan (LAB, or League of Scientists for the People) marked their 50th anniversary and the NPA’s 57th anniversary in a gathering in Metro Manila in March. LAB was founded in December 1976.

KM-DATAKO holds political conference. Over 80 KM-DATAKO members convened in March for the regional political conference of revolutionary youth and students in the Cordillera. After the conference, KM-DATAKO reaffirmed its firm commitment to further strengthen, expand, and support and join the NPA. The activity was held during the NPA’s anniversary.
