The Draft Resolution of Both Houses No. 8 filed in Congress by Ilocos Norte Rep. Angelo Marcos Barba is yet another brazen attempt to change the 1987 constitution to secure a 10-year term of office for congressmen. This proposal is self-serving and highly contemptible. It will be roundly rejected by the Filipino people, who demand urgent action amid skyrocketing prices and low wages.
