SA UNANG TAON NI MARCOS JR. Sa talaan ng Ang Bayan, 94,448 ang naging biktima ng mga paglabag sa karapatang-tao sa unang taon ng rehimeng Marcos Jr. Naitala ng AB ang aabot sa 954 kaso (o higit dalawang kaso kada araw) ng mga paglabag sa karapatang-tao sa buong bansa. Pinakamaraming kaso ang naitala sa buwan ng Oktubre 2022 (117 kaso).

 

Sa abereyds, halos siyam ang biktima ng pampulitikang pama­maslang kada buwan. Kada linggo, halos dalawa ang biktima ng tortyur habang umaabot ng dalawa ang dinudukot. Naka­pag­tala ng 72 biktima ng pagbabanta, pana­na­­kot at intimidasyon kada araw. Hindi ba­ba­ba sa 45,266 ang naging biktima ng sa­pi­litang pagbabakwit at dislokasyon dulot ng okupasyong militar sa kanayunan. Basahin ang buong ulat.

    Paglaban sa Batas Militar sa mga Pahina ng Ang Bayan (Resistance to Martial Law in the Pages of Ang Bayan) is a 400-page anthology of key editorials and news articles published in Ang Bayan from September 1972 to February 1986, during the period of martial law rule under dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr.

    The book is foreworded by Prof. Jose Ma. Sison, the founding chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Philippines, who also served as editor-in-chief of Ang Bayan from 1969 to 1976.
